Today we went to Fort Clinch in Fernandina. We all had a good time. Well except for Avery, she thought the men in their Confederate uniforms were going to hurt us or her. She cried a couple of times. The Fort is beautifully placed at the mouth of the river. It was a miltary installation until World War II. We lucked out and accidentally picked the weekend that they performed the reenactment of how everyday life occured. The campsites look great and Charlotte scouted the showering facilities of course (she said they looked awesome!!!). We are looking forward to taking the kids camping soon!
